Terms and Conditions

'We', 'our' and 'us' refer to the owners and makers of this website, The Worldwide Calendar. 'The website' refers to this website, The Worldwide Calendar. 'The user' refers to any person wishing to submit a greeting to us.

1. We will ensure that a greeting is published on the day specified if:
   1. We have received the greeting, and any payment required, from the user, and
   2. We have sent a confirmation email to the user.
2. Refunds
   1. We will give a refund for a paid greeting in any of the following circumstances.
      1. The greeting did not appear on the day specified by the user, and the user had clearly stated on which day they wished the greeting to appear.
      2. The greeting did not appear alongside the correct photo, or appeared without a photo, when a photo was requested.
      3. The greeting appeared in the wrong section of the page.
      4. The mistake was not rectified by 11:00am* on the day of the greeting's publication.
   2. We will not harrass or hassle any user(s) for payment.
3. Our records
   1. We will keep all greeting requests in our inbox, even if the payment has not been received, until at least the specified day of publication, unless:
      1. The greeting request was verified and has been added to the database.
      2. The greeting request was rejected (see section 4).
      3. Our inbox runs out of space. In this case we will remove older requests, under the assumption that the user has changed their mind. They may resubmit their request at any time.
4. Rejecting greetings
   1. We reserve the right to reject any greetings at our discretion. When a greeting is rejected we will inform the user by email.
   2. We will always reject greetings which contain any of the following: adult images, swearing, racist or otherwise offensive language, links to websites containing any of the above, or copyrighted images.
   3. The user may resubmit a revised greeting to be reviewed by us if their greeting is rejected.
5. Prices
   1. We reserve the right to change our pricing scheme at any time.
   2. Greetings will always be charged according to the pricing scheme which applied when we received the original greeting request via email.
6. Privacy
   1. We will not contact the user at their email address, unless the email is regarding their greeting request.
   2. We will not sell, trade, or pass on email addresses to any third party.
7. Copyright issues
   1. By submitting an image, the user accepts any responsibility for copyright infringements. The user should ensure before submitting images that they have permission to publish the image.
8. Changes to terms and conditions
   1. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notifying the user. Updated terms and conditions will always be available on the website.
